Judy Lane Blevins Taylor, age 75 of Fries Virginia entered into rest on June 3, 2024, at her home. Judy was born on March 22, 1949, to the late Howard McCoy and Cynthia Viola Denny Blevins in Whitetop, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Albert Taylor; one Granddaughter Wendy Billings; and several brothers and sisters.

Judy loved being in her flower and vegetable gardens, as well as canning her harvest. Her favorite three words were "No, No, No". She was devoted to her family and very dedicated to their well-being. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took great pride in being a grandmother, "Nannie". Living the life of a mountain woman was one of Judy's simple pleasures in life.

Judy is survived by her fiancé Wade Lewis of Green Cove, VA; three daughters, Velva Taylor Billings of Fries, VA, Betty Jones and husband Johnny of Atkins, VA, and Stephnie Stansberry of Whitetop VA; two sons, Dwight Taylor and wife Amy of Troutdale, VA; Daniel Taylor and wife Sandy of Independence, VA; nine grandchildren, Josh Jones, Cody Jones and Amber Jones all of Atkins VA, Dillion Taylor of Virginia Beach, VA, Courtney Taylor of Fries, VA, Wyatt Taylor of Troutdale, VA, Nikishia Wilcox and husband Keith of Zionville, NC, Keonna Stansberry and Cody of Mouth Of Wilson, VA, and Christopher Billings of Fries, VA.

Two brothers, Roger Blevins and wife Peggy of Marion, VA, and Eugene Blevins of West Jefferson, NC.

Several great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday June 6, 2024, at 1:00pm at the Whitetop Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Walls officiating. Burial will follow in the Byars Cemetery in Whitetop, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services.
