Kathy Ann Watson, 57, of Independence, Virginia died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at the Grayson Rehab Center in Independence, Virginia.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Derek Phipps of Independence, VA; two grandchildren; Madelyn Reann Phipps of Independence, Virginia and Ethan McRae Hill of Coeburn, Virginia; two Uncles: Joe and Dorothy Taylor of Wytheville, Virginia and Jimmy Testerman of Independence, Virginia; special first cousin: Mark Taylor of Independence, Virginia; special friends: Deanna Jones, Karen Wingate, Cathy Wright and Sandra Vaught.
Several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, at 2:00 PM at the Mt. View Baptist Church with pastor, Rev. David Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 prior to the service at the church.
