Larence Gilbert "Toby" Blevins age 84, of Mouth of Wilson, VA passed away at his home on Friday, July 6, 2025.  He was born on February 23, 1941, in Grayson County to Blaine Teed and Flossie Lou "Nanny" Henderson Blevins.  While he dedicated several years a variety of work, he was most often found in the Christmas tree fields.  He will be remembered as a dedicated family man who loved his family beyond measure.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was a kind man who had many friends.  His love for vegetable and flower gardening always produced dramatic results.  His family is greatly comforted in knowing that his faith has now been realized and the toils and trials of this life are behind him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gency Blevins of the home; one daughter, Tina and Johnny Mash of Jefferson, NC; one son, Tony Blevins of Mouth of Wilson, VA; two grandsons, Jonathan Mash of Jefferson and Jaron Mash of Richmond, VA; one brother James Ray Blevins of Chilhowie, VA; one sister Jo Ann Lewis of Mouth of Wilson, VA.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Walls Cemetery with Rev. Larry Peak officiating.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to Mr. Blevins' grandson, Jonathan Mash, for the many acts of kindness he showed to his grandfather, during his sickness. He exceeded all expectations of caring for his grandfather.
