Linda Gail Gore, age 49, of Troutdale, Virginia passed away on Oct. 28, 2022, at the Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA.  Linda was born on Oct. 30, 1972 in Marion, Virginia to Allen Alexander Gore, Sr. and Elsie Lee Brewer Gore.  She graduated from Grayson County High School in 1991.

Linda loved everybody and everybody loved Linda!  She was one who never saw a stranger and she brought much joy to her family and friends.  She was a fan of country music and was often found "singing along."  She enjoyed visiting McDonalds and  ordering her "Happy Meals" and "cheeseburger with just ketchup!"   She was a fan of word search and mahjong puzzles. She loved coloring in her books.

Linda is survived by her brother, William Sexton of Troutdale, VA; two sisters, Rhonda Hash of Independence, VA and Shelia Gore of Atkins, VA; half-sister, Betty Gore of Chicago, Il; and half-brother, Phillip Gore of Chicago, Il; three nephews, one niece, one step-niece and one step-nephew and a special caregiver, Roxanne Hall of Troutdale, VA; special friend, Shelia Price of Lumberton, NC also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Cheeks officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the funeral at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Troutdale Cemetery in Troutdale, VA.
