The gates of heaven opened on the early morning hours of May 12, 2022, and Lisa Diane Parsons age, 61, entered into her heavenly reward.  Lisa lived her life confined to her bed because of her physical disabilities.   She was born on August 24, 1961, in Marion, Virginia to Webb and Bernice Marie Testerman Bowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her long-time devoted and loving stepfather and caregiver, Clarence Bowers of the home, her half-brother, Randy Parson of Sugar Grove, VA; caregiver, Cody Blevins of Troutdale, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 14, 2022, 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church in Troutdale, VA with burial to follow in the Laurel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
