Louise Brown Jones, age, 83 of Piney Creek, North Carolina, died at her home, Friday, May 1, 2020.  She was the widow of James Romans Jones.  She was born on November 1, 1936 in Ashe County, North Carolina to Willie Bruce and Eula Adaline Jones who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Mary Jones and Richard and Mary Jones all of Piney Creek, North Carolina; one daughter and son-in-law, Velma and Rev. Rex Sparks of Piney Creek, North Carolina; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma Beane of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Gladys Austin of Grassy Creek, North Carolina, Gearleen and Harold Pollard of Crumpler, North Carolina, and Janet and James Childers of Kernersville, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and a sister-in-law, Nancy Brown of Crumpler, NC, also survives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 3:00 PM for family members only at the Scottsville Baptist Church by Rev. Tommy Wurth and Rev. Dennis Eller with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

There will be no visitation, however, friends may call at the home of David and Mary Jones at 10189 Hwy 113 Piney Creek, NC 28663.
