Martha Sronce Magroski, age 80, of Mouth of Wilson, VA died at her home on the morning of October 25, 2022.  She was born in Arlington, Virginia to Jack and Elizabeth Sloop Sronce on October 21, 1942.  Martha grew up in Statesville, NC where she nurtured her creative spirit.  She developed a love of reading and literature at a young age.  Her college years were dedicated to English Literature.  She loved to travel and was able to travel extensively throughout her life.  She visited Africa as a young adult and visited Vietnam, France, Ireland, and Scotland along with her husband in her retirement years.  She will be remembered as a Yoga Instructor at the Grayson County Library and during the Covid outbreak she took her class outdoors and instructed at the Grant Grange Hall in the Grant Community at Mouth of Wilson.  She was skilled at knitting and was a talented watercolor artist and enjoyed metal sculpture as well. She was also interested in paper making and book binding. Throughout her life, she nurtured her love of flower and vegetable gardening. She enjoyed her life and found great pleasure in the "small things."

At her request, her services will be private and conducted at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Magroski of the home; daughter, Alexis Gault of Asheville, NC; two daughters-in-love, Rosa Babylon of Indian Trail, NC and Samantha Magroski of Hendersonville, NC: son-in-love, Sequoyah Magroski of Hendersonville, NC; four grandchildren, Jack Davis, Charlie Davis, Evan Babylon, and Nora Babylon.
