Mary Price Hubble Hoffman, age 95, of the Grant, Virginia community, died on April 25, 2022, at the Johnson County Medical Center in Abingdon, Virginia.  She was born on February 12, 1927, in Smyth County, Virginia to Ray Edgar and Hettie Victoria Blankenbeckler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bryant Hoffman. She is survived by one daughter, Lynnell H. Jones of Midlothian, Virginia; and one son, David Hoffman of Troutdale, Virginia; one sister, Joanne Barton of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Hoffman along with her husband, was an active member of the Grant United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her extreme talents in sewing, knitting, and cooking.  She designed, created and shared her quilt creations with her family and friends, a testament to her generosity.  She retired after twenty years of dedicated service to the Grayson County School Board Office.

Graveside services to honor her life will be conducted at the Grant Cemetery on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mike Newman officiating.
