Mary Jane Wingfield Hollingsworth, age 93, of Troutdale, Virginia (Rockbridge Community), died on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Hillsville, Virginia.  She was born on August 7, 1927 in Newport News, Virginia to Rev. Richard and Hessie Parks Wingfield.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Hollingsworth; brothers, Richard L. Wingfield, Jr. and Edward Ashley Wingfield.

She is survived by son, James (Jimmy) and Linda Hollingsworth of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; daughter, Susan H. and Bo Moxley of Independence, Virginia; grandchildren, Lisa H. and Jerry Wolanzyk of Williamsburg, Virginia, Timothy James and Jennifer Hollingsworth of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, Christopher James Cox,  Bradley Evan and Samantha Cox, Mary Lynne Cox and Kris Ward, all of Independence, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Kelsie Brooke Hollingsworth, Timothy Jakob Hollingsworth, Easton Lynn Hollingsworth all of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; Laiken Lee Wolanzyk and Jay Alex Wolanzyk all of Williamsburg, Virginia, Braeden Hunter Ward, Levi Kristopher Ward, Luke Harvey Ward, Grayson Bo Ward and Jacey Lynne Ward, all of Independence, Virginia, Evan Carter Cox, Austin James Cox, and Kiley Nicole Cox all of Independence, Virginia.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Flat Rock Cemetery in Independence, Virginia.  The family will be at the funeral home prior to the graveside services from 11:30-1:30 PM.  Rev. Derek Cowan and Rev. Ted Bonham will officiate.

Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
