Melvin Erroll Blevins, age 76, of  Whitetop, Virginia died October 6, 2019 at the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center in Independence, Virginia.  He was born Aug. 16, 1943 in Whitetop, Virginia to Clarence B. and Lura Angeline Farmer Blevins.

He is survived by  his wife, Barbara Ann Blevins of the home; daughter and sons-in-law, Anita and Patrick Wilson of Elk Creek, Virginia; grandson, Jaden Ball of Troutdale, Virginia; one sister, Mary and Daniel Trivette of Volney, Virginia, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 9, 11:00 AM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Larry Peak.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.  Private Graveside services will follow at the Walls Cemetery in Whitetop, Virginia.
