Michael Darin Hudson, age 49, of Independence, Virginia, passed away
Monday, May 28, 2018 in Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, VA

Born March 7, 1968 at Sparta, NC, to Joe Hudson and Rosetta Holdaway Hudson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bryan and Lara Holdaway

Surviving, Mother, Rosetta Smith of Independence, VA; son, Michael Anthony (Megan Marie) Hudson of Speedwell, VA; daughter, Chaylin (Shane) Riegel of Hillsville, VA; four brothers, Doug Hudson, Randall Hudson and Kenneth Hudson all of Galax, VA and Charlie Hudson of Baltimore, MD, and sister, Diane Wilson of Winston-Salem, NC; six grandchildren, Sadie Hudson, Lanie Hudson, Tucker Hudson, Tyler Bordeaux, Lucas Hudson and Hucksley Hudson

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wynal Smythers officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until time for the service. Interment to follow in Grubbs Chapel Cemetery, Independence, VA
