Michael S. Poole, age 76, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at his home in Sparta, NC.
He is survived by two daughters and Spouses: Rebecca and Randy Turlington of Newport News, Virginia and Michelle Poole and Julie Dey of Nashville, Tennessee; one son: Jeffrey and Jenny Poole of Gloucester, Virginia; four grandchildren; one sister and spouse: Sandra and Steve Cardwell of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; two brothers and a spouse: David and Janet Poole of Evansville, Indiana and Keith Poole of Sparta, North Carolina; twenty-three nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 4:00 PM at the New Haven Church of the Brethren by Brother Ed Hall. The family will receive friends at the Church Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Medi-Home Health and Hospice of Sparta.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home of Independence, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
