Miriam Anna Bolt, age 90, of Elk Creek, Virginia died on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the Waddell Nursing Home in Galax, Virginia.  She was born on November 25, 1929 in Chase, Maryland to William R. and Ethel Richardson League.  She was the widow of Steven Garnett Bolt.

She is survived by five daughters, Barbara Hodge of Sparta, North Carolina, Nancy and Larry Anders of Independence, Virginia, Emma Lee and Gale Anders of Independence, Peggy and Allen Church of Piney Creek, North Carolina, Penny and Burton Robinson of Woodlawn, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren; very special niece Kay Cassett and several other nieces and nephews also survive; special caregivers, Chelsey Hall and  Effie and Bennie Osborne.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mariam Christine Roberts, and grandson, Stacy Anders.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 3:00 at the Flat Rock Cemetery in Independence, Virginia by Bro Jeff Johnson.
