Mrs. Molly Sue Colvard Gambill, age 81, of Crumpler, North Carolina, died at her home November 13, 2019.  She was born October 7, 1938 to Howard Marshall and Ruby Ellen Sturgill Colvard.  In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were two brothers, Jack W. Colvard and Jess Emmet Colvard; and three sisters, Dawn Vannoy, Lois Ann Parker, and Wendell Halsey.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Martin Gambill of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Patty Gambill of Crumpler; daughter and son-in-law, Gillian and Brian Hampton of Crumpler; four grandchildren, Haley Gambill, Norah Hampton, Farrah Gambill, and Isaac Hampton.

Memorial services will be conducted on December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of West Jefferson, North Carolina.

The family requests no food and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ashe County Library 148 Library Drive West Jefferson, North Carolina 28694.
