Kate Rutherford Moore February 16, 1939 - October 25, 2022

Kate graduated from Oak Hill Academy and Bluefield College.  She went on to work for NCR and later helped start a software company called Softwise.  Kate married Carroll Moore in 1969 and they lived in London England for a year before moving back to the states.  Kate lived in Roanoke, Virginia for years before moving back to her beloved country home in Volney, Virginia (now Mouth of Wilson, Va.).

Survived by a sister & brother in law

Sue Rutherford Winters and husband Dave Winters of Lexington, Kentucky; niece and family, Sherry Rutherford Kelley, Husband, Michael Kelley and son Dawson Kelley of Fries, Virginia.

She is the widow of Carroll Moore and the daughter of the late Robert L. Rutherford and Alma Sells Rutherford.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Curtis and Ray Rutherford
