Nona Blanch Moxley Pilkins, age 83, of Glade Valley, NC, died on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 at the Margate Health and Rehab Center in Jefferson, NC.  She was born on September 17, 1936 to Paul and Verda Suit Moxley in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Guy Pilkins, her daughter, Katherine "Kathy" Francis, son Edward "Pete" Pilkins, two sisters, Leona Dowell and Murtle Halsey, one brother, Bill Moxley.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Guyda and Miguel Salazar of Galax, Virginia and Ginger Blevins of Mountain City, TN; one sister, Jean Murray of Sparta, NC; her man, Dallas Bedsaul of the home; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive; one special nephew, Ricky Dowell of Grassy Creek, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Piney Creek United Methodist Church with Bro. Ed Hall and Bro James Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
