Mrs. Nora Ellen Frost, age 78 of Galax, Virginia died Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital in in Roanoke, Virginia.  She was born on April 5, 1941 in Fries, Virginia to Preston Ballard and Katie Mae Parks Akers who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Joe S. Frost of the home; one son, Allen R. Frost of Galax; two nephews, Scottie Jones and David Jones, Both of Fries, Virginia.

Graveside service will be conducted on Monday, July 22, 2019 11:00 AM at the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Fries, Virginia by Rev. Tony Vaughan.  The family will receive friends at the Church of God of Prophecy Church in Fries, Virginia  from 10:00-11:00.
