Mr. Paul Lawrence Jones, Jr. age 89 of Fries, Virginia died on December 26, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.  Mr. Jones was born on May 28, 1932 in Grayson County to Paul Lawrence Jones, Sr. and Ana Woodruff Jones.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and farmer.

Mr. Jones is survived by his brother, Fred and Deanna Jones of Elk Creek; three nephews, Randall and Misty Jones, Roxie Jones, and Mike and Debbie Hammond; one niece, Debbie and Patrick Fisher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Jones Hammond and Mary Lee Jones.

The Rev. Gleasanna Dixon will conduct private graveside services.
