Pauline Hash Cole, age 73, of Galax, Virginia died on February 11, 2021 at the Twin County Hospital in Galax, Virginia.  She was born on January 18, 1948 in Independence, Virginia to Lester and Lillian Hash.  She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Bobby J. Cole; daughter Melinda L. Cole, and brother, Ted O. Hash.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Sharlene Cole of Fries, Virginia; her daughter and son-in-law, Lois ad Charles Carrico of Galax, Virginia; her mother, Lillian Hash of Independence, Virginia; brothers, Rex Hash, Robert and Carol Hash and Jimmy Hash all of Independence, Virginia, and Michael and Phoebe Hash Pennsylvania; one sister Linda Hash of Independence, Virginia, sister-in-law, Judy Hash of Troutdale, Virginia; nine Grandchildren, one-step grandchild, 11 great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:00 at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel in Independence, Virginia.  Mask will be required.  Rev.Garry Adams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Independence, Virginia. The family will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday evening fro 6:00-8:00.
