Randy Allen Parks, 66 years old, affectionately known as "Hawkeye" by his family and friends passed away December 11, 2024, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC with his wife by his side.  He remained home up until four days before his passing.

He was born on September 4, 1958, the third son of the late Trigg and Nell Parks of Nickelsville, VA.  Randy talked fondly of his early days farming with his brother, Danny.  Later in life he enjoyed driving a big truck hauling lumber and auto parts allowing him to travel all over.  He also loved to fish and hunt.

Randy is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Georgia and Danelle; stepson, David Lee; two brothers, Danny and Brenda Parks and David and Louise Parks; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Honoring Randy's request, there will be no public services.

The family wishes to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home and all the kind staff for their care in his final days.  They also wish to express their appreciation to kind neighbors, Jeff and Pat Burgess, Peggy Cox, Cindy Coffell for all of their love, help and support.
