Ray McCoy Anderson, age 77, of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, died on August 28, 2021 at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, Virginia.  Mr. Anderson was born on November 20, 1943 in Marion, Virginia to Sherman and Mildred Carson Anderson.  He retired from the Radford Arsenal and served in the US Army.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Suits.  He is survived by his mother, Mildred Anderson of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; two brothers, William George Anderson and Lewis Dale Anderson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Young's Chapel Baptist Church in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia by Rev. Doug Turnmire.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by Grayson V.F.W. #7726.
