Ricky Lee Davis, age 47, of Lansing, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, North Carolina.  He was born on January 16, 1978, to Wanda Janie Davis Blackburn.

Ricky will be remembered for his vibrant personality always seeking to find a way to involve somebody in a practical joke.  He was a very giving person who was always willing to share with anybody.  In his spare time, he could be found riding his bike or online gaming with friends.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Blackburn of Mouth of Wilson, VA; two brothers, Matthew Alan and Christine Blackburn of Independence and Jonathan Blackburn of Mouth of Wilson; step-brother, Mark and Andrea Blackburn of North Carolina; sister, Anna Blackburn of Mouth of Wilson.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and his maternal grandparents, Wilson and Gladys Davis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at a later date. Services dates and times will be announced at this site as they become available.
