Robert Douglas Ayers, age, 44 of Independence, VA passed away at his home on Friday, February 14, 2025.  He was born on August 15, 1980, in Wytheville, VA to Ralph and Linda Hutchens Ayers who preceded him in death.  He was a high school graduate who was employed at Robert Shaws.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph "Joe" Ralph Ayers of Independence, VA.
