Robert Dale Moxley, age, 91, of Independence, Virginia died at his home Sunday night, November 3, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Reeves Moxley.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Patsy Moxley of Independence, Virginia; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mark Walker of Richmond, Virginia; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mayme Wingate of Delaware and Phyllis and Bill Riter of Delaware also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM by the Rev. Dr. Eddie Roland in the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Sparta, NC with military rites conducted by Grayson V.F.W. Post #7726. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shiloh Cemetery c/o Mr. Walter Lee Hampton 1173 US Highway 221 Sparta, NC 28675 or Brush Creek Baptist Church 1448 New River Parkway Independence, Virginia 24348.
