Ronald Lee Moxley, age 70, of Sparta, NC died at his home Jan. 17, 2018. He was born December 25, 1947 to Howard and Edith Moxley in Jefferson, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, Annetta Boyer Moxley of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Calvin and Tenna Moxley of Pelion, South Carolina; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Roxanne and John Roten of Independence, VA, Kim and Jimmy Farmer of Independence, Virginia, and Jenny Moxley of Sparta, NC; one brother: Dean Moxley and wife, Donna of Sparta, NC; six grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and one Uncle: Jack Ward of Elk Creek, VA; three Aunts: Betty and Calvin Cox of Independence, VA, Mildred Moxley of Piney Creek, NC, Irene Ward of Independence, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Chapel by Rev. Eddie Roland and Rev. David Osborne. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Twin Oaks Community. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence, Va.
