Roy Dennis Roberts

Roy Dennis Roberts, 75, of Elk Creek, Virginia, passed away on October 31, 2026, in Hickory, North Carolina. Born on December 3, 1950, in Galax, Virginia, he was the son of Roy Paul and Edna Bobbitt Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Theresa Hale Roberts, who passed away in 2015.

Roy worked in general plant maintenance at the plastics plant in Wytheville, VA. In his leisure time, he enjoyed target shooting and working with car engines.

He is survived by his partner, Darlene Elliott of Fries, Virginia; two sons, Terrance and Julie Roberts of Covington, VA and Nathan and Sarah Roberts of Hickory, NC; four grandchildren, Alexandra Kaylee, Morgan and Carter.

The family will receive friends on Saturday November 7, 2026, at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 11:00-12:00 noon.
