Stacy Saunders, 44, of Independence, VA, passed away Tuesday morning, October 15, 2024 at her home. Born in Mercer County, WV to Timothy Mark and Rhonda Bowles Brown, she was preceded in death by her father, and paternal grandparents, Rufus and Dorothy Brown.

She is survived by her wife, Amanda Painter, of Independence, her mother Rhonda and stepfather, Jeffrey White of Peterstown, WV, a son, Tyson Keffer and fiance, Liyah Mitchell, as well as grandson, Monte Mitchell, all of Independence.  She also leaves behind two sisters, Victoria White of Peterstown, WV and Elizabeth White of Ronceverte, WV, as well as a brother Matthew Brown of Narrows, VA. Her maternal grandparents, Larry and Dorothy Bowles of Narrows, VA and several nieces and nephews also survive.

No formal services will be held at this time.
