Steve Allen Blevins, age 61, of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia died in Damascus on April 20, 2022.  He was born in Jefferson, North Carolina on May 23, 1961, to Gaither and Belva Mae Finley Blevins.

He graduated from Independence High School in 1980.  He liked hunting and fishing and enjoyed being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Taylor; two brothers, Bob Blevins and Rick Blevins.  He is survived by six sisters, Lois Davis of Mouth of Wilson, VA, Kathy Blevins of Lansing, NC, Jean Murphy of Piney Creek, NC, Joyce Blevins of Independence, VA, Linda Mullins of Sparta, NC, and Irene Murphy of Sparta, NC; one brother, Jerral Blevins of Whitetop, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted on May 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Helton Valley Baptist Church by Rev. David Lewis.
