Sue Barton Hash went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 58 years, James R. Hash.  She was born on April 3, 1934 to the late Carl and Sarah Barton in Independence, Virginia.  She was also preceded in death by brothers, John, Scott and Junior Barton and sister, Madeline B. Cox.

She is survived by son, Kenneth and Rene Hash of Roanoke, Virginia; daughter, Debbie and Mark Jones of Wytheville, Virginia; son, Jeffrey and Karen Hash of Hudson, NC; granddaughter, Laura Thompson of Radford, Virginia; grandson, Matthew and Lindsey Thompson of Christiansburg, granddaughter, Terra Ashworth of Hudson, NC; great grandchildren, Kalea, Christopher, Wyatt, Rylee and Kai and many more very special family members and special friends.

She was a life-long member of Grubbs Chapel Baptist Church where she served the Lord faithfully.  In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the Grubbs Chapel Cemetery to Rhonda Edwards 94 Mistic View Lane Independence, Virginia 24348.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Jan.11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Grubbs Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Derrick Cowan and Dr. Tim Hight.  Burial will follow in the Grubbs Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
