Sybil Cornett Anders, age 73, of Elk Creek, VA, the Comers Rock Community, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA
She was the widow of Harry Lee Anders. She was born at Galax, Virginia to parents, Ellis Cornett and Eula Hackler Cornett

Surviving, son and wife Brian and Rhonda Anders of Dillon, SC; two grandchildren Brianna Anders and Cole Anders; cousins and spouses Barbara and Jessie Anders of Elk Creek, VA, Dorothy and Kenneth Poe of Independence, VA, and Roger Poole of Galax, VA and several other cousins also survive

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 14, 2018 in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapel, Independence, VA; Rev. Gleasanna Dixon and Ronnie Byrd will officiate. Interment in Comers Rock Cemetery, Comers Rock, VA. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 A.M. preceding the service.
