Sybil Irene (Wood) Lovelace Born June 24, 1930, and died August 21, 2023. Sybil was born in Bel Air, Maryland, to the late Floyd Lecter Wood Jr and Lessie Fay Brown, and predeceased by her husband, Arthur Vaden Lovelace.

Surviving, two sons, David Lovelace and wife, Robin of Milford, DE; and Danny Lovelace and Susan of York, Pa. And grandchildren, Melanie, Michelle, Jason, Krystal and Danny Jr.; great-grandchildren, Zachory, Christien, Derek, Conner, Robbie, Vaden, Camdyn, Jase, Cooper, Wremley, Noah, Cherish, Samantha, Alexis. And surviving two daughters, Linda and husband, Gerard Mack of Jarrettsville, MD, and Lisa and husband, Chuck Roberts of Strasburg, PA. And grandchildren, Heather, Valerie, Saron, Joel, and Harmony; And great-grandchildren; Joseph, Jared, Phoebe, Wesley, Emma, Heidi, Claire.

Sybil was a servant of Christ. She loved people, birdwatching, sewing, and traveling. Was a very hard worker, loved to laugh, and beloved by all. She is survived by her brother, Peyton Hudson Wood of Eustis, FL.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023,11:00 AM at the Haw Orchard Cemetery in Mouth of Wilson, VA with Randy Lovelace officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
