Tommy Michael Price, 71, of Elk Creek, Va, passed away, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Forsyth Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side.

He was born May 4, 1950 to the late Sheriff Ray and Stella Price of Grayson County, VA.

Tommy spent 20+ years working at Darco Southern in Independence, VA. He was always a very punctual and dependable employee, who tried to make work fun.

He was an avid and talented outdoorsman in hunting and fishing. Tommy was a master of the air guitar and loved his music! To know him was to love him. He loved to joke and kid around with his friends. His knowledge of the strangest statistics and trivia never ceased to amaze, and usually at the most random of times. And the man loved him some bingo.

Survivors include his precious wife of 46 years, Terry Mundy Price, of the home; daughter, Tonja Price of Sparta, NC; grandson, Dustin Ray McMillan and great-granddaughter, Brinlynne Everleigh McMillan of Sparta, NC, as well as many other family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elk Creek Rescue Squad, and/or simply hug a loved one a little tighter or show someone an act of kindness.
