Mrs. Stanley was born at Jefferson, NC to Leonard "Bill" Peak and Fay Pugh Peak

Surviving, Husband, Doug Stanley of the home; daughter, Sheila Butcher of Fries, VA; two sons and spouse, Bob Stanley of Fries, VA, and Rocky and Sherry Stanley of Low Gap, NC; sister, Linda Hash of Independence; three brothers and spouses, Roy and Sarah Peak, Larry and Marie Peak and Roger and Charlotte Peak all of Mouth of Wilson;
sister-in-law, Rene Peak of Mouth of Wilson and nine grandchildren
and eleven great-grandchildren also survive

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2017 in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapel, Independence, VA. The family will receive friends (Friday) from 12:30 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
Interment to follow in Stevens Creek Cemetery, Fries, VA. Rev. Gayle Bolt, Rev. Tim Byrd and Rev. Eddie Stanley will officiate
