Wallace Allen Taylor, Sr., age 68 of Elk Creek, Virginia died on December 29, 2020 at his home.  He was born May 12, 1952 in Wytheville, Virginia to Ralph Stephen and Virginia McCorkle Taylor.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his his nephew Ben Taylor, brother-in-law, Doug Goolsby.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Martin Taylor of the home; five sons, Lil Al Taylor and his fiancée, Breanna Peppers of Galax, Virginia, Steve Taylor and Amber Boyer of Elk Creek, Virginia, Andy Taylor and Billie Jo Delp of Elk Creek, Virginia, Joe and Amanda Taylor of Independence, Virginia, Kevin Taylor of Elk Creek; seven grandchildren, Phillip, Jamie, Abby, John Michael, Eli, Emmarie, and Anna-Grace; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Chris Taylor of Kingsport, TN; sister, Ginger Goolsby of Morristown, TN; brothers-in-law, Dusty Martin of Elk Creek, VA and Kerry Martin of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Comers Rock Cemetery in Elk Creek, Virginia by  Pastor Patrick Sutherland.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Elk Creek Fire Department PO 36 Elk Creek, Virginia 24326 or  Twin County Hospice.
