Wanica was born at Elk Creek, Virginia to Dewey Sutherland and Zenna Hale Sutherland. She was also predeceased by her husband Ellis John Lundy, Jr., four brothers, L.B. Sutherland, Alvin Sutherland, Edd Sutherland and Claborn Sutherland; two nephews, Ronnie Allen Sutherland and Joshua Boyer

Surviving, three sisters and spouses, Maretha Harrington of Independence, VA, Clara Mae and Deacon Jones and Nancy and Aubrey Caldwell all of Elk Creek, VA, and several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m
in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeff Pickett will officiate. Interment to follow in Flat Rock Cemetery, Independence, VA. The family will receive friends one hour preceding the funeral service.
