William "Butch" Edward Crisp, age 71, of Calhoun, TN, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his residence
He was the son of the late George and Helen Thompson Crisp He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and retired from Bowater Paper Company after 25 years of service. He was a member of Mableton Masonic Lodge #111 in Georgia. He was an Old Ford Enthusiast and loved to scuba dive. He referred to his wife as "The love of his life" and was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by step-daughter, Nikki Mae Holdaway
Surviving, wife, Patsy Jenkins Crisp of Calhoun, TN, formerly of Flatridge, VA; daughter, Ashley Elizabeth James of Kingston, TN; step-daughter, Elaine and Allen Cox of Independence, VA; three grandchildren, Zane Allen Cox, Eli Noah James and John Avery James. brother and sister-in-law, G.W. and Nancy Crisp of Loudon, TN
Funeral service conducted Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, VA.
Rev. Barry Newman officiated. The family received friends one hour preceding the service
