William Earnest Parks, age 83, of Sugar Grove, Virginia died December 29 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Virginia.
Funeral Services will be conducted in Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel in Independence, Virginia at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Burton's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Parks is survived by one sister: Louise Osborne of Marion, Virginia and two special nieces: Betty Faye Anderson of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Hattie Cullop of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Lester and Allie Rose Caudill Parks, four brothers and five sisters.
